Automotive die‑cast valve plates include transmission valve bodies and hydraulic valve blocks, which suffer from residual carbon from die‑casting release agents, machining cutting fluids, aluminum chips and burrs embedded in micropores, intersecting blind holes and throttle holes. The precision of spool holes reaches IT5‑IT6. Residual particles over 200μm may lead to spool sticking. As die‑cast aluminum is susceptible to discoloration and corrosion by strong acids or alkalis, conventional single‑frequency ultrasonic cleaning or general high‑pressure washing fails to thoroughly clean deep‑seated areas of holes. Core Configurations

  1. Servo‑driven rotating fixtures and directional high‑pressure nozzles programmed according to oil‑channel layouts of valve plates.

  2. Graded high‑pressure settings: 40‑50 MPa for outer surfaces and 15‑25 MPa inside holes to avoid damaging precision spool holes.

  3. Submerged ultrasonic modules, multi‑stage 1‑μm fine filtration system, combined drying by hot‑air blowing and vacuum evacuation.

  4. Custom neutral water‑based detergent with aluminum‑specific corrosion inhibitors to avoid darkening of die‑cast aluminum.

Working Process

Workpiece clamping → pre‑rinse to remove surface oil and loose aluminum chips → CNC‑programmed directional high‑pressure flushing along internal oil passages for intersecting and deep blind holes → ultrasonic soaking to strip embedded debris on hole walls → multi‑stage pure‑water rinsing → hot‑air circulation drying plus vacuum draining → cleanliness inspection by particle weighing method in line with standards.
