Power equipment components have stringent cleanliness standards. During machining, stamping and assembly, metal workpieces are prone to contaminants such as cutting oil, anti-rust oil, metal powder, polishing residues and fine dust. Residual contaminants may lead to poor contact of contacts, reduced insulation performance, partial discharge and other hidden dangers, directly affecting the long-term operational reliability of high-voltage switches, transformers, power connectors and other equipment. Traditional manual cleaning and spray cleaning struggle to remove micro-impurities from micropores and gaps of parts. The cleaning quality is unstable, accompanied by high labor costs, difficult waste liquid management and low efficiency. Targeting the cleaning requirements of power industry parts, Buck launches the fully automatic ultrasonic cleaning machine to provide a complete solution for precision cleaning of power components.
The Buck fully automatic ultrasonic cleaning machine dedicated to power parts adopts a multi-tank structure, integrating ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing, vacuum drying and other processes with fully automatic closed-loop operation. The machine is equipped with high-performance ultrasonic transducers. Using the cavitation effect, a large number of tiny bubbles are generated inside the liquid. The instantaneous impact force produced when bubbles burst can penetrate into gaps and blind holes of workpieces to strip oil stains and metal debris without damaging the substrate of precision parts. Different from ordinary cleaning equipment, the parameters of this system can be adjusted according to materials of various power parts to protect copper, aluminum and alloy steel parts against corrosion and discoloration.
The cleaning process can be customized as required. Workpieces are transported by an automatic conveyor into the ultrasonic cleaning tank, where heavy oil stains and metal dust are stripped by powerful ultrasonic waves. Afterwards, workpieces go through multi-stage pure water rinsing tanks to carry away contaminants stripped from workpiece surfaces and prevent secondary pollution. After rinsing, workpieces enter the vacuum drying station to rapidly remove internal moisture, leaving no water stains or marks after cleaning and meeting the high cleanliness requirements of power components. The whole process requires no manual intervention. Operators only need to load and unload workpieces without accessing cleaning stations, greatly reducing the risk of secondary pollution caused by manual operation.
In practical project applications, the equipment is used for batch cleaning of high-voltage switch contacts, insulator accessories, wiring terminals, power valve bodies and other components. Cleanliness of workpieces after cleaning remains stable, and indicators of residues and particulate impurities consistently pass cleanliness inspection. Compared with the original cleaning process, Buck’s automatic cleaning equipment effectively improves cleaning consistency and significantly reduces product defect rates. Automatic continuous operation greatly boosts output per unit time, reduces consumption of cleaning agents and water, and cuts subsequent operation and maintenance costs. The machine is fitted with a waste liquid filtration and circulation system to improve the utilization rate of cleaning agents and meet the environmental production requirements of factories.
The equipment is equipped with complete safety and monitoring modules. Real-time monitoring is performed on temperature, ultrasonic power, tank liquid level and operation cycle, with automatic alarm for abnormalities to facilitate workshop management. The whole machine features a robust structure and resistance to moisture and corrosion, suitable for long-time continuous production in workshops. Buck can customize cavity size, station quantity and conveying method according to customers’ workpiece dimensions, production capacity and cleanliness level requirements, providing one-stop services from scheme design, equipment manufacturing, on-site installation and commissioning to after-sales maintenance.
As power equipment develops toward precision and high reliability, component cleaning is no longer a simple oil and dust removal process, but a critical procedure to ensure safe and stable operation of power equipment. Relying on mature ultrasonic technology and automatic design, Buck fully automatic ultrasonic cleaning machine solves the cleaning challenges of special-shaped and porous precision power parts, helping power manufacturing enterprises stabilize product quality and realize efficient, environmentally friendly and standardized precision cleaning production.
