Cleaning Solution for Precision Stamped Parts

1. Applicable Workpieces & Cleaning‑related Challenges

Workpieces: Precision stamped parts for 3C electronics, automotive and new‑energy industries, including thin‑wall sheets made of stainless steel, copper and aluminum, spring plates, terminals, shielding covers, precision gaskets and special‑shaped small structural components.

Main Contaminants: Stamping‑drawing oil, rust‑preventive oil, fine metal chips, punching dust, fingerprint oil, residual polishing wax.

Key Difficulties: Thin‑walled workpieces are prone to deformation and surface scratches; dirt easily accumulates in folded corners, grooves and interlayers; copper and aluminum parts are vulnerable to oxidation and discoloration; mass‑production requires zero water spots and high‑level surface cleanliness, complying with precision‑assembly standards such as VDA19 and ISO16232.

2. Three Core Cleaning Processes

2.1 Vacuum Hydrocarbon Ultrasonic Cleaning (Top‑end Priority)

Suitable for: Automotive stamped parts, electronic terminals, shielding covers and cosmetic‑grade precision parts (ready‑for‑assembly after cleaning).

2.2 Fully‑automatic Aqueous Ultrasonic Cleaning Line (Cost‑effective for Mass‑production)

Suitable for: Large‑batch stainless‑steel stamped parts and ordinary structural components, scenarios requiring high throughput with moderate budget.

Process Flow: Ultrasonic degreasing → Multi‑stage spray rinsing → Pure‑water fine rinsing → Air‑knife dehydration → Hot‑air drying

Advantages: Powerful removal of heavy oil and dust; fully automatic operation reduces labor cost; special neutral anti‑oxidation detergent prevents workpiece discoloration; multi‑stage filtration and oil‑water separation maintain stable water quality and high yield rate.

2.3 Drum‑type Precision Ultrasonic Cleaning (Dedicated to Tiny Small‑size Parts)

Suitable for: Mini gaskets, thin spring plates and micro irregular stamped parts which are easy to stack, scratch or miss‑cleaning.

Advantages: Soft tumbling inside drum combined with ultrasonic‑spray cleaning avoids hard collision to prevent deformation and scratches; solves floating‑part and stacking‑dead‑corner problems, ideal for bulk cleaning of micro‑components.

3. Key Process Control Points

  1. Ultrasonic frequency matching: 40kHz / 80kHz high‑frequency ultrasound is adopted for thin sheets for gentle cleaning and prevents vibration‑induced damage.

5. Acceptance Standards after Cleaning
